New Reports and Publications
New EHRC Report
A new report, commissioned by the Equality and Human Rights Commission and produced by the Migration Policy Institute, has just been published. It is entitled “The UK’s New Europeans: progress and Challenges Five Years After Accession” and investigates the employment and skills patterns of east European Migrants in the UK since the Accession of the new EU member states. New Refugee Council Report
The Refugee Council has recently published a new report entitled “Chance or choice? Understanding why asylum seekers come to the UK” The report was commissioned by the Refugee Council and written by Professor Heaven Crawley, Director of the Centre for Migration Policy Research at the University of Swansea. According to the Refugee Council, `the research investigated the decisions made by asylum seekers who come to the UK and explored the extent to which these decisions are a reflection of chance or choice.’ The full report and a shorter research summary are available by clicking on the relvant link below:
